With a few exceptions, whenever you buy hardware, a disk is typically included containing the software and drivers the hardware needs to work properly.
Drivers can be downloaded for free from the manufacturer's website. Most provide a download or support section where the drivers can be found. Be certain you know your computer's operating system version and the make and model device you need the driver for. If you are updating a driver for existing hardware, it is good practice to uninstall the old driver and restart the computer before install ing the new driver. Here is a very short list of where to go for various drivers for various devices.
